Long Hours

I have decided that I am starting to despise the station job. I worked about 30 hours there over the weekend, with a Friday/Saturday shift lasting 18 long, tiring hours. My shift started on Friday at 2pm, then, because both 3rd shift people didn't show up (one called in, the other just didn't show), I decided to let my manager go home and work the shift. Then, only one person showed up for the 6am shift, so I had to help her set up that morning. It was long, wearisome hours, and I don't know if I've gotten back the sleep I've lost yet.

Well, I've been sending emails back and forth to Will, and it appears that he now has a military girlfriend =(. On the one hand I'm happy for him that he's finally found someone. On the other hand... well, I'm not so happy. And maybe even a little jealous. I'm normally not too bad in the jealousy department, but... Anyway, he says he's going to bring her down the next time he's able to be in the states, so when he does I'll be able to meet her.

I've been thinking about getting back into minature painting. I use to enjoy spending long hours with brush in hand painting little pieces of metal. Not so much that it had a use, but because I found it to be one of the most relaxing things I could do. Moving the brush against the pewter, getting the colors just right, ect. If I ever get a digital camera, I'll post some of my previous miniture paint jobs online. They aren't that good, but I'm still proud of them. One of the few things I'm proud of.

Anyway, I'll post again, hopefully sooner than this one was posted (I know, I always say that). Night!
