Sorry for the lack of posts durring the past eight days. I ment to only have six days between posts, but a few stress full envents have occured.
The most stress full event was that, according to the emails he sent me, Will was on a three day suicide watch. When he told me he got of it, he didn't email me for three days afterwards, which really made me nervous. But it sounds like he's doing better now. At least I hope he is. Still, I do feel bad that there's very little I can do here to help him over there. Though I should be sending him a packet of stuff soon. I just hope he doesn't do anything stupid.
Work has become even more tedious. Our scanner girl is going to temporary fill in for our account assistant while she's on her two week vacation, so guess who gets to spend her next two weeks as a file clerk, pointlessly filing away useless documents everyday? That's right, me! With the exception of Friday, I have not done anything IT related in about a month. Which is really naking me think about leaving the company. I mean, I like the people there, I do, and I think they like me as a person, but the work I'm currently doing can best be described as busy work. Like going in and making sure that some policies are scheduled to be rewritten. Or the filing. I really despise filing. A lot. But work's work, and until I get something else lined up, this is what I have to deal with. Not that there is any place close that's hiring. Well, I could always go back to the grocery buisness, but the only place where I'd have job security in the area is the newly opened Walmart, and I don't want to be working for minimum wage. I don't know, I just wish my job made me feel useful. And that its future did not involve filing.
School started Monday. I had to reschedule my Calc class because the canceled the morning one, so now I'm taking Calc 3 at five instead of 10. Which means I'm going to be getting 2 less hours each week because of when I have to leave work. On top of that, I found out that my Humanaties class uses a different textbook then the one I was told to buy, so now I'm going to have to replace it =(. Still, I should do well this semester. I also sent an email to the Engineering Department at UCF asking if they have any recomendations for what I should do to get into their program.
Not all of the week was bad, though. I got to see one of the bands I like, Dragonforce, in concert at the states theater in St. Pete. The show was sold out, so I was lucky to get tickets. It was worth the 16 dollar entry fee. Although it doesn't sound too enjoyable, 750 people packed together in a small space with little AC is fun.
That's about it for right now. I'll try to update this more often since I really would do this twice a week instead of once a week. Hopefully I'll find a way to do that.
