First off, I'd like to wish my blog a happy belated birthday. Because of my best attempts (or maybe despite them), I've been able to somehow keep a year long journal/diary/blog of my life, something I've never done before (the longest before this was a journal I kept for a month). It's been a year full of poor grammar, spelling errors, and crazy talk, but it's been a year.
A friend of mine had me watch her copy of Rent, and I have to say, it's a pretty good musical. From the first song to the last, it's deffinatly worth watching, at least, if you're into musical kind of things (like the Phantom of the Opera or Les Misera). It has a decent story, but the music is fantastic.
Speaking of music, there's a band I recently found, called Apocolyptica. They're known for doing things like playing metalica songs with cellos. I some how got my hands on their newest albumn, and the string insturment stuff in it is to die for. Well, maybe not to die for, but... ya. It's good. The first song is a remake of Enter Sandman, and I swear it's better than the orginal. They do some other songs, (err 23 in this albumn), and another good one is Hall of the Mountain King.Video of hall of the mountain king and a video of their song Path. The local game store got a new employee. No, it's not me. But he does share similar intrestes as myself. Diabolical schemes are hatching in my mind as I type this... >)
