Well, my sisters have graduated high school. They're class of 2006. They didn't graduate with honors or anything, but each of them have a scholarship, and they're planning on going to USF St. Pete. My family lives close enough to that campus that they can drive up there, albeit, they'll have to go over the skyway bridge each trip.
I wouldn't say I'm proud of my sisters for graduating. I expected them graduate. Granted, one of them though Quebec was in Russia until a few months ago, and the other compared the effects of Agent Organge to the effects of a nuclear weapon, but outside of that, and a few other things, they've had a pretty good record. Better than mine, anyways. They'll also be leaving the country for Germany soon, part of some sort of forien exchange program. They'll be away for about 3 weeks, barring any mishaps.
I hope they'll be ok over there. Europe is a weird place, and the further east you go, the weirder it gets. I don't want aything to happen to them while they're over there. In the seventeen years they've been around, I've kind of grown attached to them. We've had our arguments, our feuds, and a few viscious attacks (Christine attacked me because she spilled her salad on the floor once, though she has the view point that some how I did it...), but they're good people. I wouldn't want anything to happen to them, at least, not on most days.
Sunday was fun. Friends of the family threw a memorial day party. I was the desinated driver for my family. My dad ended up spending the bulk of the party garding the keg. I guess he assumed the safest place for the contents was his stomach. I got to play two games of volleyball, and played a round of horse shoes. My team won the volleyball game both times, while the horse shoes game ended in a draw (15 minutes and neither side got on the score board). During the horse shoe game, I did some how manage to throw the thing through a fence... that was about 15 feet behind the pole. We're still wondering how I was able to throw through the fence with out damaging it, but it'll forever be a mystery.
There was also a lot of good, tasty food at the party, which may be why I attended. They throw one of these every memorial day and every labor day, and each year the food gets better and better. I remember last year we also had fireworks (or was that 4th of July?), and my dad had a little too much to drink. He was launching off the mortors (the fireworks that produce the most spectacular effects), and he some how managed to put one into the thing back wards. It went off on ground level... while the neighbor's dog was sniffing next to the launcher thingy. It was a spectacular display, but I don't think I've ever seen a dog run that fast in my life.
I'm so happy! Two of the bands I listen to will be in my area in the middle of summer (one in august, the other in september). I'm going to see if I can't gat tickets to their concerts! =)
Also, one of my friends invited me to a party on Friday. I'm not going to drink there, but it would be fun to go out and socialize. And if they give me a lot of trouble about not drinking, I'll just leave. I have no desire to ever get drunk, or even drink for that matter. Alcoholism runs in my family, and I don't want to be its next victim.
Anyway, I'm going to log. Night!

Ducttape + car = work
I got my car fixed on Tuesday. Turned out to be the alternator. Cost 400 dollars. So now I'm in debt to my parents of about 380. They needed to replace the alternator, the battery, and one of the battery cables. I don't think they would have replaced the battery if I didn't try to remove it myself. I'm not going to say anything else about my battery removal attempts.
As to what I had fixed, it was a white Ford Ranger (97), or at least, it was white. Now it's more of a dirt gray color, with a few black scratches on it. It has about 117K miles on it, and I plan to put another 85K on it, unless it decides it doesn't want it, in which case I'll be forced to find another small vehicle. As to how I have my truck decorated, well, I have two stuffed cats on my dashboard, and I use to have a fox tail hanging from the rearview mirror. I have my MCC parking permit in the window, along with a NERV parking permit (came with the anime). No noteable bumper stickers on the rear fender.
I did gain another dent on the car Thursday. I was driving to work when another vehicle (a white car), decided to move into my lane. He moved into the lane right where I was, knocking me into the far left lane. I began to slow down, either to park on the side of the road or to get back into my previous lane, when the guy began honking his horn at me. Apparently he was trying to make the turn lane that he bumped me into. Also, judging by his forein look, his driving skill, and his vehicle, I believe he was driving with out a licence. Still, I wrote down his licence plate number. I didn't report anything though, out of fear of an insurance rate hike. Living in a no-fault state means both parties recieve rate hikes, not just one =(. At least I'm glad there was no real damage to my vehicle, espically after I just had it repaired.
The last two weeks at work I did full time, resulting in about 75 hours. Which may result in about a 550 dollar paycheck after taxes. I'll be able to pay my parents back a little, so that'll be a good thing.
Anyway, I need to get some sleep for work tomorrow morning. ~Night~

My car hates me
Well, my car hates me. It died on me Friday night as I was driving home about a mile and a half from my house. Completely dead. So, I ended up walking back to my house, grabbed my mother, and we went out to my truck and waited for the tow truck person to get there. Because of how my vechicale died, and because the battery light turned on the day before, the tow truck guy (whoes name tag said Wayne) thought it was either the altenator or the battery. I won't know till I get it to the mechanic. My Dad is out of town right now, but he wants it taken to a specific mechanic, one that's twenty miles away. They do good, economical work, but that still leaves me carless for a few days. As such, I called up my manager and he's agreeded to pick me up on his way to work tomorrow. Don't know what I'll be doing for lunch tomorrow, but still...
Other than the obvious, being carless also means I'm stuck listening to the local radio. We have about a hundred country stations here, fifty oldie stations, and zero metal stations. The closest we have to it is rock. It's ok, but most of the stuff they play on the radio is drek. Pure drek. If you're wondering what kind of stuff I listen to, well... Falconer's Clarion Call(from falconermusic.com), Nightwish's Over the Hills and Far Away(nightwish.com), Gamma-Ray's Revelation(gamma-ray.com)(don't have this albumn, but their site doesn't have any samples from albumns I do own T_T),Kamelot's Wings of Despair (kamelot.com). I would post a sample of Rhapsody's music, but their site doesn't offer any samples (they just recently changed recording studios...), and the ones I can find play at such a low bit rate that you might as well be listening to a midi. Here's the band's website if you're intrested though (mightyrhapsody.com).
I still need to register for fall course. I need to take a history class, two humanaties, and something worth 4 credits (Calc 3...), and I'll have my AA degree. Then I spend one more semester there to get the rest of my prereqs out of the way (differential equations, Physics 2, More Chemistry), and I should be able to hit either USF's or UCF's engineering school. I want to go to UCF, since it's off in Orlando, but my parents want me to hit USF, which has a few near by campuses. Both are pretty good schools, but I do want to get away from home.
I've started putting my application into other places as well, added it to Office Depot today, and tomorrow, if I had a car, I'd put it into a local computer repair shop. That might be hard to do, considering the shop is about 9 miles away from me, about 3 from my work, and I don't want my manager to know I'm looking for something that pays more. I mean, he does know I've submitted my application in other places, since I told him, but I don't want him to know just how many. I also want a job that has more technical duties then the one I'm doing right now. I'd like to learn more about computers, and that means doing more. But my current job doesn't provide the opportunities for more hands on learning. Setting up PCs all day, although easy, isn't challenging. I know I shouldn't whine about my job, but I like complaining on my blog. It's the only place I get to vent everything out at, since I don't have a place to do this in RL. And even if I did, I don't think anyone would want to read it.
Speaking of reading, I've started reading again, since I have the time for it. Finally read through the newest Shadowrun novel, Fallen Angel is it's name. I thought it was good, but then, I haven't read anything in a few months, so that might be why. I also picked up one of Ray Bradbury's books, Something Wichked This Way Comes, and I'm looking foreward to reading that. I enjoyed his Fahrenhiet 451, but I hear that's his only political novel. Anyway, I hope I'm not disappointed.
Don't know if my friend recieved the package I sent him last Monday. I'll email him tomorrow about it. Along with another friend whom I haven't heard from in a while. She's a depressed goth who's a decent artist. I'm just worried about her since I haven't heard from her in a while. And then there's another one of my friends. He's starting to get into the sticky green stuff, and although I think that's better than alchahol (something else that he does too), I don't think it's too good for him. Supposebly, he's stopped because of a really bad hang over due to the May 5th drinking day thing, Sinco de Myo I think it's called, but supposebly he had a very bad hangover the next morning. and swore off all of his vices. Don't know how long that's going to last, though.
At least I feel better now that I've gotten all that off my chest. Sorry to annoy everyone with my overly pestimistic entry today.

Mailing stuff
Well, auto assault and final exams are not a good combination when updating a blog. Definatly not. But at least I passed my calc final =). So this semester's grades are A, B and C. =) (Physics, Chemestry, and Calculus, respectively).
Like I said, I've been playing Auto Assault a lot. The game is fun, but it defiantly won't replace CoX. Definatly not for a long time. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it doesn't seem to be one of those long term MMO's. I have only been playing it for a week, and already I'm lvl 24. A good portion of the population already has lvl 80's. Of course, crafting wise is difficult, to say the least. No one has gotten to the last crafting skill yet, largely because there is very little reward in it currently. Still, it's fun though.
School is over, and next week I'll be pulling some full time work at my current job. We have a few computers we need to set up still, and we have to get it done by Friday. After that, though, it'll be back to part time. Still, better than all part time.
I decided to take the summer semester off. I'm doing it largely because last semester was hell. Well, not really hell, but still. I'm not a big math fan (yet I'm getting an engineering degree. Why did I decide to do that? Why?), and last semester was nothing but math. I'll have my AA at the end of December though. All I need is two humanity classes, a history, and 4 credits of "electives." Those four credits will probably end up being my the next chemistry class I need. Afterwards, I'll probably see if I can't get into UCF.
As to posting a picture of myself to this blog, I'll see what I can do. I don't have any digital versions at the moment, but that may change.
Anyway, my next update shouldn't take as long as this one did. Sorry for the lack of posts.
