Well, I'm back from Wiscon. My grandmother isn't doing to well =(. On Saturday Morning my mother and my grandfather rushed her to the Marshfield's emergency room, and when I left Tuesday, she was still in the hospital. Her cancer has become metastolic cancer, which she was diagonises with in July. It could have been diagonised earlier, but her previous doctors were less than optimal. My Mom is very worried, and I guess so am I. My Grandmother starts Chemo either today or yesterday, but the best that it can do is slow down the cancer, not stop it.
As for my time in Wisconsin, my Grandparents live in Owen-Withee Wisconsin. It lies about an hour, hour and a half, from Eau Claire (If you're like me, then you probally would never think it's pronuced O'Claire. But it is), and about two to three hours south (I think....) from Miniapolis. The countryside is beuatiful. At least, it was. And the tempature, unlie Florida weather, never hit the 90's while I was their, and some nights I needed a jacket. As for the size of the town, it had one street lamp. Not stop light. Street light.
As for how the iPod held up, it went pretty good. Except that it requires a computer to charge. Something very hard to find in a town who's libary just celebrated it's 1000th book. Otherwise, it worked great. Excellent sound quality, excelent goodiness. I love the music quiz feature on it. It will play a random clip from a random song, then gives you 4 choices of which song it's from. Good way to learn your music. I think. Of course, the headphones gets tangled up and knotted no matter how you put them in your pocket, but they're still the best pair of headphones I have ever owned. And one day, I'll pick up the FM transmitter so I can listen to it in my car (Florida frowns upon people listening to headphones while driving. Something about not hearing emergency vehicles I guess. But with the way I listen to my music.... hehe).
Anyway, I proobally shouldn't post in the mornings, for now I'll be dwealing on the topics of this post all. But this is one of the times I get to post, so...
